Larry Lopez

With over 40 years of experience enabling knowledge-based businesses, technology finance, strategic planning, regional development and executive management, Larry has the networks, experience and skills to help early-stage companies reach their full potential.

 

Prior to moving to Perth in 2006, Larry spent 17 years at SVB Financial Group. During his tenure at SVB, he was involved in many of the strategic initiatives that helped the bank evolve into a global powerhouse in technology finance. He was the co-founder of the Bank's international venture capital practice and responsible for the Bank's activities in Europe, Israel and Australia.

 

Over the years Larry has participated as an investor in some of the most successful companies in the technology sector.  Larry currently serves on a number of boards and is a director of several not-for-profit and government organisations. 

 

Larry has a BSc in Business Administration from Menlo College, and is a Graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University Washington in Seattle and was a participant in Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Regional Entrepreneurship Accelerations Program in 2021-2022.
